Young Cuban scientists meet Russian colleagues

Moscow, Nov 10 (Prensa Latina) A delegation of young Cuban scientists is in Moscow for an exchange with counterparts from this nation, under the program, “Cuba and Russia Together for Health,” Prensa Latina informed on Friday.

As part of the working program, the Cuban scientists met with lawmakers and members of the Semashko National Research Institute of Public Health, attached to the Health and Protection Commission of the State Duma (Lower House) of the Russian Federation.

They also visited the National Medical Research Centers for Preventive Medicine and Brain and Neurotechnology of the Ministry of Health, the Yevdokimov Moscow State University of Medicine and Dentistry, and the Research Institute of Pneumology.

At the end of the week-long visit, the young Cuban and Russian scientists plan to analyze the results of the exchange with the directors of the Russian Academy of Sciences to deepen the usefulness and perspective of this kind of event.
