Washington, Mar 26 (Prensa Latina) The Wisconsin Coalition to Normalize Relations with Cuba announced on its website and social networks upcoming trips to Cuba despite the US blockade.

The United States cannot block hope, the group said in its call, highlighting that during the Covid-19 pandemic, the Cuban people have been the world leader regarding a comprehensive health response that has saved lives not only in that Caribbean nation but in other countries as well.

The coalition, which is promoting trips to Cuba in 2022 and 2023, intends to boost the approach between both countries and spread the truth about the island nation, which has been silenced by major media outlets many times.

According to the text, those traveling to Cuba will have the opportunity to meet with people from different sectors of its society.

They will discuss the right to free education, the literacy campaign in Cuba and the world; the training of physicians from southern countries and the United States.

They will also learn about the right to free and universal health care, Cuba’s international medical collaboration, the development of the biopharmaceutical industry, and the implementation of social programs.

In addition, they will visit galleries, museums, public parks and historic monuments.
