Havana, May 31 (Prensa Latina) Foreign entrepreneurs have great confidence and determination on Cuba, said Jose Duran, MTG CEO, with over 20 years of relationship with Cuba.
Cuba has good prospects, so we strongly believe and trust in Cuba for its great potential to continue growing, according to Duran in an interview with Prensa Latina.
As an example, he cited the recently-concluded HostelCuba 2019 International Show for restaurants, hotels and tourist services. It was attended by about 120 exhibitors from nearly twenty nations.
This amazing fair filled us with pride, because it is shown that there are many people interested in investing in Cuba, he added. Regarding MTG, he explained that they are focused on several important areas, such as security and meat products and furniture.
Now we are wrapped up in an agricultural blueberry plantation project, in the western province of Pinar del Río, he asserted.
In addition, he said, we long to introduce other fruits such as raspberries and blackberries.
We are not only aimed at exporting but also meeting the demand of the national industry, he said.
We love Cuba, and therefore, we want to make our contribution to its development, he concluded.
