Voices of dignity for Cuba, Venezuela against blockades in New York

New York, Sep 24 (Prensa Latina) A cry for dignity brought together activists in solidarity with Cuba and Venezuela, who met with President Miguel Díaz-Canel in this city on Saturday to demand an end to coercive measures against the two countries.

The Society for Ethical Culture of New York hosted the event, which was also attended by Venezuelan Foreign Minister Yván Gil and other representatives of the two nations.

Under the name Voices of Dignity, the event was part of the Cuban president’s broad collateral agenda during the 78th United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

This week, the Cuban head of State also met with representatives of sectors such as science, culture, public health care, business people and Cuban emigrants, and participated in the High-Level Segment of the UNGA.
