Venezuela to Denounce US Violations of Airspace at UN

Caracas, Jul 29 (Prensa Latina) The Venezuelan Government will denounce the violations of its airspace by the United States at the United Nations, Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza said.

The US Government admitted to be the mastermind of the illegal action that puts air navigation at risk in Venezuela, Arreaza posted on Twitter on Sunday.

About this issue, the head of Bolivarian diplomacy described the intervention as ‘very serious’, and ensured that Washington insists on attacking Venezuela’s peace and sovereignty at any cost.

The foreign minister’s comments responded to statements by Admiral Craig Faller, Commander of US Southern Command, to the Associated Press, in which he admitted responsibility for surveillance flights over Venezuela.

Facing the constant provocations by the White House administration, Minister of Communication and Information Jorge Rodriguez stated that about 78 violations of Venezuelan airspace have been committed this year by US spy planes.
