
Caracas, Apr 15 (Prensa Latina) Venezuelan Vice President Delcy Rodriguez has denounced on Monday a meeting held in the United States with officials from Colombia and Brazil to discuss pushing through the idea of a war against Venezuela.
The Vice President reiterated in a message posted on Twitter this is an ongoing plan for a military aggression launched with the backing of Congressman Juan Guaido’s self-proclamation as President in Charge.
‘Officials from the United States, Colombia and Brazil who plot to ignore the will of the people through military violence commit crimes against humanity and are responsible internationally’, Rodriguez wrote.
For his part, the Caracas ambassador to the United Nations, Samuel Moncada, released the investigation of journalist Max Blumenthal published this weekend that confirms the meeting also with ‘operators of the advertising agencies of Washington, private companies and Venezuelan betrayers’.
‘On April 10, a sinister meeting was held in Washington that will be marked in the shameful history of US wars around the world. In that secret meeting they plotted how to launch a war against Venezuela’, the diplomat wrote in Twiter.
The international community and its multilateral legal bodies should know that a criminal plan is currently in progress to militarily attack the South American nation, the Vice President warned.
Blumenthal revealed on The Grayzone website that the meeting was secretly hosted by experts from the U.S. Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) to discuss the use of military force.
