Havana, Aug 18 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez Parrilla has accused the United States on Tuesday of sabotaging the Proclamation as a Zone of Peace assumed by all Latin American and Caribbean countries in 2014.
On his Twitter account, Rodriguez Parrilla recalled that proclamation assumed by the continent in January 2014, during the 2nd Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), held in Havana.
‘In 2014, all Latin American and Caribbean countries signed our Proclamation as a Zone of Peace,’ the diplomat wrote.
The regional policy of the #USA government has sabotaged this genuine aspiration of our peoples, the Cuban foreign minister stated.
Cuba believes that the United States is undermining the commitment to peace in the region with its hostile and interfering acts that affect Cuba, Nicaragua, Bolivia and Venezuela.
