London, Dec 30 (Prensa Latina) British specialized tourism magazine Rough Guides, which main office is located in London, recommended Cuba among the first 18 tourist destinations of the world, to visit in 2018.
Rough Guides put Cuba in the 6th place since it considers the Caribbean island an attractive option in the so-called ‘leisure industry’ despite measures from the US government limiting the visits by foreign tourists to the biggest island of the Antilles.
In a video clip of a little more than a minute, Rough Guides highlighted the Cuban western province of Pinar del Rio, with places like Viñales, of great luster inside the national nature.
Havana, a city that stands out for its heritage values; the Bellamar Caves in Matanzas (West); Varadero, the city of Trinidad (center); and the eastern cities of Camaguey and Baracoa; are also among the places highlighted by that travel magazine.
The list by Rough Guides is headed by the British city of Newcastle. In this order, the US Civil Rights Path, Malawi, La Valetta (Malta), Wales, Cuba, Russia, New Orleans (US), Chile, Sierra Leona, South Korea, Jordan, Tiflis (Georgia), South Africa, Palermo (Italy), the Togian Islands (Indonesia), Tunisia and Belize are following.
