U.S. Barmen Delegation Visits Cuba

Havana, Jun 2 (Prensa Latina) The head of the Marketing Team of Havana Club International S.A., Jurgen Cepero Álvarez, informed today that U.S. barmen from New York, Miami and Los Angteles visited Cuba for a week.

The specialist added the delegation arrived with the objective of appreciating tourism development and exchange impressions with their Cuban colleagues.

Havana Club International is a mixed company created in 1993 between the French Pernod Ricard and the local manufacturer CubaRon.

The group of North American experts toured places of historical value of this city and scenarios liniked to bars, cocktails and Cuban culture.

He explained this was a personal trip and they arrived to Havana through barmen friends that contacted the executives of the Havana Club International S.A. company in order we organized for them a tour of bars, historical sites and famous restaurants.

Barmen showed delight for this first contact with their counterpart of the island, be able to know the process of manufacturing rhum Havana Club and interact with Master rhum makers of this archipelago.

Cuba received last year for the first time over three million international visitors and tourism authorities of the island argued the wish to put this destination high among the best gastronomy, as an incentive for vacation trips.
