Turnat 2017 Event, an Open Sky Meeting in Cuba (+Photos)

Havana, Sept 1 (Prensa Latina) At the end of this month Cuban touristic authorities will organize the 11th International Nature Tourism Event, Turnat 2017, which headquarters will be in eastern Cuba.

Holguin-Baracoa will host the 11th Turnat 2017, from the 26 to 30 September, great moment for the exchange among professionals who dedicate to this sort of travels, and the occasion to hike and examine paths and divulge the beauties of this archipelago.

There is a plan from 2014 to 2020 in which are assisted 77 Protected Areas of National Significance, and 134 of Local Significance, for a total of 211 Identified Protected Areas.

Therefore, Turnat 2017 occurs every two years in a different place, and it already went from the West to East. The first meeting of this kind, Turnat 2000, was in Viñales, Pinar del Rio province, the most western region of Cuba.

The objectives of this meeting aimed at promoting and reinforcing natural tourism in Cuba counting with the possibilities of a beautiful well-preserved geography.
