#TodosSomosVenezuela hashtag is trending worldwide.  Authorities, organizations, social movements and students from across Cuba, Russia, Italy, Sweden, Spain, Kenya, China, the Dominican Republic and Argentina, Mexico and Chile used the international hashtag to show solidarity with the South American country.

March 18 (teleSUR) On Saturday, Venezuelan Nicolas Maduro extended gratitude for the overwhelming support #TodosSomosVenezuela has received on social media.

The hashtag allowed people across the globe to show support for the people of the Bolivarian republic on World Day of Solidarity.

Foreign Affairs Minister Jorge Arreaza also expressed thanks to those who support the country in these moments of political and financial aggression.
