Dec 6 (Orinoco Tribune) The executive vice president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Delcy Rodríguez, said Wednesday that the meeting held by the countries that are members of the Inter-American Treaty of Reciprocal Assistance (TIAR), in the city of Bogotá, Colombia, “is nothing more than a montage to cover the social and political crises of nations that repress the people and violate human rights.”
This was announced on her Twitter account @DrodriguezVen, in which she said: “TIAR clowns set up a circus to pretend to distract from the scandal of the gang of criminals, bandits and organized criminals of the National Assembly in contempt deputy Juan Guaidó.”
Likewise, Rodríguez stressed that Colombia faces a national strike called by different social sectors since November 21, protesting the measures taken by President Iván Duque.
Vice President Rodríguez also referred to the declarations of the Colombian President, through which he stated that “greater coordination between countries is required to impose economic sanctions on groups close to the dictatorship of Nicolás Maduro, including powers for the extinction of ownership of the proceeds of theft to the heritage of the Venezuelan people (expropriating Venezuelan assets abroad)”.
In this regard, Rodríguez also urged Iván Duque “to coordinate his suitcases.” And she said that, “the sister people of Colombia is on the streets raising its voice against neoliberalism and its warmongering policy. Venezuela will continue to be the light of freedom and independence of our continent. ”
She also stressed that despite the blockades and threats against Venezuela, the people remain in resistance and support a government that fights for the social stability of its citizens.
The Venezuelan government has denounced on several occasions, protected by the TIAR, imperialist governments who are trying to establish a false positive, a false flag operation, a skirmish, on the Colombian-Venezuelan border, to have an excuse to attack the Bolivarian nation.
