Camaguey, Aug 18.- The work carried out by the Movement of the Science and Technology Forum in Camaguey is very important, since it contributes to import substitution and provides practical solutions to tackle problems in the production and service centres in this province.Thanks to the inventions of its members, this movement has produced manifold equipments, such as the stove for the employee lunch room of the Transport Company in Camaguey, which saved over 15 thousand CUC (Cuban convertible currency).
The Movement of the Science and Technology Forum has also contributed to the installation and assembly of an electrical board for travelling cranes, in the Agricultural Workshops, which allows extending the useful life of this kind of machineries.
The rest of the year, Camagueyan innovators intends to exceed their results in this field and contribute to national economy thanks to the import substitution.
Among the priorities to increase yield rates, they propose some events at base level, which ensure the success of the Movement of the Science and Technology Forum in Camaguey province. (Radio Cadena Agramonte).
