Havana, Aug 22 (Prensa Latina) The Oralitura Habana project celebrates the centenary of the Cuban Radio, which today faces new communicational challenges attached to the commitment of taking the nation’s soundscape to the world.

Conceived by Alex Diaz and Leydis Hernandez, the initiative joins the celebrations with the third broadcast of a radio show that takes place at the La Madriguera Theater of the Hermanos Saiz Association and is transmitted live on the frequencies of Radio Cadena Habana.

The next meeting is scheduled for Friday, August 26 at 7:00 p.m. local time and, according to its organizers, is intended to be a musical show seasoned with interviews, games and other surprises, including the presence of the director of the dance music company Fumezco, Hector Ramirez.

During the event, Diaz will talk with the artist about his professional career and new projects, as well as his assessments on young dance in Cuba, the dance music companies and especially the group he leads.

The host told Prensa Latina, this space was born three months ago and had among its previous guests the musician Ronaldo Rodriguez, known in the scene as Ronkalunga, and Dionisio Arce, leader and vocalist of the group Zeus, which became the first metal rock band on the island.

According to Diaz, the proposal is a quite informal show that has as an added ingredient the presence of a live audience and arrives on the last Friday of each month also through real audio on the Internet to connect beyond our sonorous frontiers.
