New Nicolas Maduro’s Mandate Focuses on Venezuela’s Development

Caracas, Jan 21 (Prensa Latina) The new term of Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro is focused on promoting the country’s development through the strengthening of the civic-military union, the economic recovery program and the fight against corruption.

Venezuelan Vice President, Delcy Rodriguez, assured this Sunday and recalled the Executive’s objective to defend and preserve peace and stability of the nation.

With that objective, the first line of work focuses on defeating the coup through the civic military alliance, she said.

The management for this second period focuses on strengthening the country’s sectors, particularly the production of oil, gas, gold and diamonds as well as the deployment of the Recovery, Growth and Prosperity Program, started since August.

The head of State outlined the initiative to deal with sectors that are against the people, the second president said during an interview with journalist Jose Vicente Rangel.

According to Rodriguez, the Executive is preparing a new package of measures to counteract the ravages of speculation and the parallel dollar.
