Camagüey, Cuba, Aug 23 (Prensa Latina) The 5th Nautical-Recreational festival 2015, sponsored by the International Diving Center of the Marlin Marina, is running at Santa Lucia beach resort.
Engineer, Yosbel Abreu, a sales expert in the resort, told Prensa Latina that the two-day event includes competitions of apnea, beach volleyball, kayak, windsurfing, swimming, sand sculpting, triathlon and participatory games for local and foreign clients, among other cultural and recreational activities.
Participants will have the chance to appreciate the natural beauties of Santa Lucia, located in northern Camaguey province, some 700 km east of Havana, a beach with ideal waters for diving in depths that oscilate between 15 and 30 mt. The diving area around Sabinal Key (Cayo Sabinal), with many sunken ships of the 19th Century, will be promoted this time.
The Nautical Recreational Festival is one of the main attractions of Santa Lucia, an ideal area for the practice of windsurfing and kitesurfing, very popular among tourists.
