Mexico City, Apr 26 (Prensa Latina) The Mexican Foreign Ministry highlighted the collaboration with Cuba to preserve the historical memory of both countries as evidenced by the visit of the director of the Diplomatic Historical Collection (AHD, in Spanish), Laura Beatriz Moreno.

Moreno Rodríguez headed the cultural, academic and educational activities of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the 30th edition of the Havana International Book Fair (FILH, in Spanish).

A press release from the Foreign Ministry informs that, prior to the start of the Fair, an Agreement on Cultural Cooperation, Preservation and Access to Digital Heritage and a Cooperation Program for the Conservation, Preservation and Dissemination of Bibliographic Assets were signed with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba.

On the same day, a digital documentary on the presence of Ambassador Gilberto Bosques in Cuba was handed over, followed by a conversation about the diplomat with the participation of the head of the Mexican mission, Miguel Díaz, and Rogelio Sierra, rector of the Raúl Roa Higher Institute of Foreign Relations.

The visitor presented the call “Gilberto Bosques, Ambassador of Mexico in Cuba”, for scholars interested in developing research in both countries, as part of the commitments of the AHD to disseminate the memory of this illustrious diplomat.

Recently, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization awarded him the recognition “Memory of the World Mexico, Unesco”.
