KUWAIT, September 16, 2014. Andres Gonzalez Garrido, Ambassador of Cuba in Kuwait, met with Khaled Sahlawi, Deputy Minister of Public Health, at the headquarters of the Kuwaiti ministry.
During the meeting, both parts discussed issues of common interest, like the possible cooperation agreements in the field of health between the two countries.
The Kuwaiti Deputy Minister was pleased for the potential Cuban cooperation and expressed his knowledge on the relevant achievements in Cuba, in this important area.
For his part, the Ambassador of Cuba updated the Kuwaiti officer on Cuba’s willingness to cooperate in the fight against Ebola.
