Ciego de Avila, Cuba, May 2 (Prensa Latina) The 13th International Symposium on Arthroscopy, Ciego de Avila-2017, opened today in this city, with the attendance of several specialists from Switzerland, Canada, Austria, France, Puerto Rico and Cuba.
In the event, scheduled until May 6, at the Antonio Luaces Hospital in Ciego de Avila, clinical sessions, lectures and demonstrative surgeries on the novel minimally invasive technique for the major joints of the human body.
The pre-symposium course was held this afternoon which was aimed at treating the diagnosis by imaging, especially with the ultrasound and its interpretation in reports for patients with knee and shoulder injuries.
Osvaldo Garcia, specialist on Orthopedics, told the news agency Prensa Latina that this course tackled down four main issues: clinical diagnosis, ultrasonographic diagnosis, modeling work and lectures.
