International Musicians to attend Mozart-Havana Festival

Havana, Jun 15 (Prensa Latina) Renowned international concertists will reportedly attend the 5th Mozart-Habana Festival 2019, scheduled from October 25 to November 2.

As confirmed by Ulises Hernandez, director of the event, among the artists who will give prestige to the event are a string quartet from the United States, a tenor musician from Austria and instrumentalists (cello and violin) from Holland and Ireland.

For the Cuban part, the Schola Cantorum Coralina, the Exaudi Music Choir, the Chamber Choir of the University of the Arts of the Instituto Superior de Arte and the National Symphony Orchestra, led by maestro Enrique Perez Mesa, will also participate.

The event will take place in many venues in the capital, including the Garcia Lorca Hall of the Gran Teatro de La Habana Alicia Alonso, the San Felipe Neri Oratory, the Basilica Menor of the Convent of San Francisco de Asis and the Covarrubias Hall of the National Theater.

Sponsored by the Lyceum Mozartiano of Havana, with the collaboration of the Office of the Historian and the Mozarteum Foundation of Salzburg, Austria, the event constitutes a showcase to show the quality of the Cuban concert scene and the international panorama.
