Imprint of Actor Enrique Molina in Cuban Cinema Highlighted

70fcfa46a6f69c4c0ea563b655aa5286_L[1]HAVANA, Cuba, Oct 10 (acn) Enrique Molina received on Thursday in this capital the tribute of the Cuban Film Institute (ICAIC), which highlighted the imprint of this well known actor in the recent history of the seventh art.

Authorities of that institution met to hand over to Molina the Best Actor Prize in the international selection of the The Golden Rooster and the One Hundred Flowers Festival of the Chinese city of Lanzhou, given by the public of that meeting, for his role in Esther en alguna parte, by Gerardo Chijona.

Molina expressed his gratitude for the acknowledgement, and said that he’s happy to know that his work is appreciated by the ICAIC and by the public, from which he received love every day.

Considered to be a versatile and talented artist, Enrique Molina (Santiago de Cuba, 1943), in addition to his prolific career in television, has participated in feature films like Una novia para David, Un paraíso bajo las estrellas, Barrio Cuba, El Benny, and the aforementioned Esther en alguna parte, where he shares the leading role with Reynaldo Miravalles.
