Havana, Jul 4.- Ten days devoted to art are proposed by the Cuban Ministry of Culture (Mincult) from September 11 to 21 during the Festival Habanarte, days in which more than a thousand artists and groups of all manifestations will participate.Considered by its organizers as the first major festival of Cuban culture, the event proposes under the motto “Todo el arte de una vez” (All art at once) an incomparable program and with high artistic quality that includes the performance of the National Ballet of Cuba in the Sala Avellaneda, of the National Theater.
Among the dance groups that will perform stand out the National Folkloric Group, the Spanish Ballet of Cuba, the Company of Irene Rodriguez, the Ballet Lizt Alfonso and the Rakatán.
Danza Teatro Persona, Danza Teatro Retazos, Contemporary Dance of Cuba and the companies Ban-rrará and that of Santiago Alfonso will join this big celebration.
The audience will enjoy the most recognized works of art in Cuba and will interact with artists who will arrive in the capital from all regions of the country, told Prensa Latina Anneris Ivette Leyva, director of communications of Mincult.
Leyva highlighted that besides promoting dance, music, visual arts, literature and theater will also be represented. Furthermore, community projects, tours around museums and historical places of the capital will also take,city that is reaffirmed as an excellent cultural square of the country.
