Forum on IT to Meet Experts in Cuba

Havana, May 31 (Prensa Latina) International scientists will reportedly participate in Cuba from September 25 to 27 in the 4th Edition of the Forum of Entrepreneurs and Leaders in Information Technologies (FELTI 2019).

Integrating Latin American countries in the technology sector is the main purpose of the meeting, which seeks to deepen Cuba’s potential in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) industry to identify business opportunities and set links with the participating organizations.

The meeting also aims to insert Cuban IT companies with export potential in the international market, as well as to establish networks of work with ICT leaders, among other issues of interest for the software area in Latin America.

FELTI 2019, hosted by the Computer and Communications Business Group, will be a favorable space for exchanges between professionals, entrepreneurs, government representatives and international organizations interested in advancing ICT, electronics, medical equipment and automatic in Cuba and the world.

As a forum´s initiative this year, the best projects will be endorsed to be part of the stand ‘Panorama of ICT in Cuba’, at the Computing Fair 2020, to be held from March 16 to 20.

The previous edition of FELTI, the only forum of its kind in Latin America, took place in 2017 with the presence of over 230 professionals from the ICT sector, who exchanged opinions on the need to project joint strategies of solutions to common problems in the process of secure computerization of society.
