Havana, Oct 28 (Prensa Latina) Experts from many countries are debating in Cuba as of today on major issues children, adolescents and youth are experiencing today in different parts of the world in modern times. The experts are meeting in this capital until October 31 in the context of the Fifth International Workshop Childhood, Adolescence and Youths “Social Integration and Sustainable Development.”
The meeting aims to promote reflection, learning, dialogue and mutual construction that can generate images of the present and the desired future by the new generations of Cubans and Latin Americans, said Idania Rego, member of the Organizing Committee of the event.
The meeting, addressed to researchers, academicians, professors, journalists, social workers, community leaders, among other factors, is organized by the Youth Study Group.
During the days of the event, to which delegates from the host country, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Argentina and Chile will attend, keynote speeches will be given and workshops on collective knowledge will be carried out, Rego stated.
