Díaz-Canel thanks recognition to Cuba by President of Mexico

Havana, Jul 7 (Prensa Latina) The president of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel, thanked his Mexican counterpart, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, for his recognition of Cuba’s support in the fight against Covid-19 in Mexico.

The Cuban president tweeted referring to the interest expressed by López Obrador in the process of developing two vaccines that Cuba is developing against this disease.

He also reiterated Cuba’s affection for Mexico and the willingness to bilateral cooperation in all fields.

The Mexican head of state expressed his gratitude for the help received in the most difficult moments of the propagation of the pandemic, as well as his interest in exchanging experiences in the field of vaccines, and acquiring those developed by Cuba.

Lopez Obrador recalled during his morning press conference that Cuba sent all the health personnel requested by his government to support the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic, and described the bilateral relationship in all fields as very fraternal.
