Havana, Specialists on computing and communications opened today the 5th Event of Cuban Culture on Digital Media in an attempt to discuss the best use of that universal phenomenon and include domestic issues.
The event, organized by the website Cubarte and the Ministry of Culture, seeks to promote discussion and exchange of experiences on the use of Information and Communications Technology within the cultural processes.
The cultural center Pabellon Cuba will host throughout November 14 an academic cycle about production, promotion and socialization of digital items.
The session underway today will tackle the cultural digital approach with the presentation of applications that stimulate the acquisition of products and news services on Cuban culture through mobile applications, video games and platforms for digital television.
On November 12, the event will celebrate the 21st year of Cubarte, with the exhibition of products and services developed by this institution, while on November 13 the program will be focused on music and audiovisual products amid the challenges imposed by digital technologies.
The best websites and cultural multimedia products in different categories will be granted the Prize Palma Digital in the closure session of the event.
