Guantanamo, Feb 15 (Prensa Latina) Students and university professors from the easternmost Cuban province signed on Friday a document in support of Venezuela and its president, Nicolas Maduro.
At the ceremony, which took place at the University of Guantanamo (UG), the University Student Federation denounced the ongoing coup d’état against the Bolivarian nation, the increase in aggressions led by Washington and its allies to overthrow the Civil-Military Union of that fraternal country and rejected the threat of intervention.
Since yesterday afternoon, the inhabitants have been mobilizing in squares, workplaces and schools to reaffirm their support for the call made by the government and Cuban organizations to support Venezuela.
After the culmination of that process, which closes on February 20, the document will be delivered to the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and the United Nations, as evidence of the support of Cubans.
While on social networks, digital media and people with Internet access support the campaign with the use of the tag #ManosfuerdeVenezuela.
