Pinar del Rio, Cuba, Jan 17.- The Caravan for Freedom, which annually reissues the passing of the rebels after the revolutionary triumph on January 1st, 1959, arrives today in this province in western Cuba.
Current generations of Vueltabajo citizens along with fighters who staged the triumphant walk with the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro, will recall this moment that ended in the historic intersection of Martà and Rafael Ferro streets.
From that site, Fidel addressed the people to talk about dreams coming true in the once Cinderella of Cuba, as this area of western Cuba was known. (Prensa Latina)
