Cuban President joins in volunteer work after Hurricane Ian 

Havana, Oct 9 (Prensa Latina) Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel joined on Sunday´s volunteer work as part of the recovery efforts in the western region of the country after the passage of Hurricane Ian.

The Cuban leader arrived at the Juan de Dios Fraga community, in the municipality of La Lisa, in Havana, alongside authorities of the Government and the Communist Party of Cuba (PCC).

The national day of voluntary work was called by the Central Workers’ Union (CTC) with the purpose of fostering cleaning-up service in cities and rural areas nationwide.
