New York, Sep 28 (Prensa Latina) Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez on Tuesday thanked young activists from The People’s Forum for their solidarity against United States blockade of Cuba.
On his Twitter, the minister also expressed his gratitude ‘for the humanism of the moving #LetCubaLive campaign.’
For their part, the activists reflected on social networks the dialogue with the Cuban foreign minister, reaffirmed their support for the Cuban Revolution and ratified their commitment to fighting against Washington’s blockade against Cuba.
Rodriguez held the meeting within the framework of his visit to this city to participate in the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly, which ends today.
In fact, world leaders and senior representatives of international organizations took the floor at the UN meeting to ratify the world community’s rejection of the economic, commercial and financial blockade the United States has imposed on Cuba for over six decades.
