Cuban FM thanks Timor Leste for support against U.S. hostility

Havana, Jun 22 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez on Saturday thanked Timor Leste’s President Jose Ramos-Horta for his rejection of the U.S. government’s inclusion of Cuba in the states-sponsor-of-terrorism (SSOT) list.

Bruno Rodriguez also heaped praise on Ramos-Horta´ support in favor of lifting the criminal economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States on the Cuban people for over six decades.

Recently, Ramos-Horta urged the U.S. government and administration to definitively stop its unjust sanctions against Cuba.

In the statement, he called on the United States to “to sit and talk with Cuba and resume relations.
