Cuban delegation for CELAC summit arrive in Argentina

Buenos Aires, Jan 6 (Prensa Latina) The Foreign Minister of Cuba Bruno Rodríguez is presiding over his country’s delegation that will participate starting tomorrow in the 22nd Meeting of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC).

Rodríguez is accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Relations and national coordinator for the CELAC, Anayansi Rodríguez Camejo; the general director of Multilateral Affairs and International Law, Rodolfo Benítez Verson; the general director for Latin America and the Caribbean, Eugenio Martínez Enríquez, among other officials of the Foreign Ministry.

The different delegations that make up the regional mechanism, made up of 32 countries, began to arrive in Buenos Aires on Wednesday, and will participate at a dinner that the president of the country, Alberto Fernandez, at the Kirchner Cultural Center.

The Foreign Minister of Argentina, Santiago Cafiero, will preside on Thursday over various meetings with ministers invited to the meeting.
