Matanzas, Cuba, Oct 22 (Prensa Latina) From October 28 to 30 will be held in Matanzas the International Workshop ”The Community Medicine in Cuba and its Impact on Quality Life of the Population, SICAMAT-2015”, confirmed today the organizers.
The event will be attended by nearly 130 specialists and the working sessions will be held at the University of Medical Sciences Juan Guiteras of Matanzas.
The central topics will be ‘University management in medical education’, ‘The health work in the communities’, and ‘Psychology and health in the community’.
Also will be discussed topics related to ‘Community strategies and the elderly’, ‘Natural Products’, and ‘University, Ecology and Social Development’, according to the source.
The forum will include on its agenda conferences, panels, symposia and poster session.
Among the objectives of this event are included the exchange and discussion of issues related to the role of Medical Universities in Community Medicine and the quality of life of the population.
The organizers of SICAMAT-2015 expect to analyze and exchange experiences during the academic conferences on topics related to University and Society.
