Cuba Reaches Two million Tourists in May 2017

Image result for holguin cubaHolguin, Cuba, May 3 (Prensa Latina) Cuba reached two million tourists this month, 39 days earlier than planned for this year, according to the the 37th edition of the International Tourism Fair (FitCuba-2017).
During the opening of the event, the Cuban Tourism Minister, Manuel Marrero, urged the local government to strive for a sustainable tourism, being peace and security as its may banners, as reported by the official website of Ahora newspaper.

Manuel Marrero highlighted tourism in this eastern province, its historical, cultural and natural attractions, which become this province a very comprehensive destination.

He stressed that Holguin boasts as many results in this sector as the good quality-price correlation and the high-constant visits by foreign tourists.

In addition, he referred to the extension of this tourist resort, which is wrapped up in an ambitious investment process for increasing over 64,000 rooms.
