Havana, May 6 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez ratified today the island’s commitment to the Association of Caribbean States (AEC) by receiving in this capital its General Secretary, June Soomer.
The official tweeted that during the meeting he reiterated the support of Cuba to the ongoing revitalization process of the regional organization established in July 1994.
At the end of March, the Cuban President, Miguel Diaz-Canel, participated in the 8th Meeting of the ACS, held in Managua, Nicaragua.
Diaz-Canel advocated in the forum for regional unity and for the defense of ‘consensus that we have built together in these years’.
