Foreign and Cuban rock bands will come together on the stage of the fifth Brutal Fest 2013 Rock Festival, to take place February 14 to 24 in Cuba.
Given significant success of previous concerts, the Festival will be held also in August as the Brutal Summer Fest.
Cuban rockers
According to the program, the February concert will include visiting bands such as Inferia, from Finland; Hexis, from Denmark; Worn Out and From Asylum, both from France; and Bahgeera, from Switzerland.
Meanwhile Cuban rock will be represented by local bands such as Combat Noise, Escape, The Shepal, Ancestro, among other collectives making hard rock music.
The Festival will be held in different Cuban provinces including central Cienfuegos and Santa Clara, eastern Camaguey and western Matanzas and Havana.
The first Brutal Fest Rock Festival was held in 2008, organized by the Cuban Rock Agency, the Cuban Music Institute and the Brutal Beatdown Records French Label.
