Cuba Expresses Condolences after Terrorist Attacks in New Zealand

Havana, Mar 15 ( Prensa Latina ) Cuba’s Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodriguez, expressed Friday the island’s condolences to the Government and people of New Zealand after the terrorist attacks against two mosques in Christchurch.

The official in his Twitter extended his condolences to victims’ families and reaffirmed Cuba’s condemnation of a scourge that affects mankind.

Cuba rejects and condemns all terrorist acts, methods and practices in all their forms and manifestations’, she said.

Cuba has insisted on tackling the root causes of a phenomenon that is of concern to the international community.

According to the media, 49 people lost their lives and at least 50 were injured during the shootings in the Christchurch mosques, while the authorities say they have three suspects in custody.
