Havana, Sep 26 (Prensa Latina) Cuba and the Republic of Lithuania are celebrating the ninth anniversary of diplomatic relations on Monday, according to the official Twitter account of the Cuban Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Cuban Foreign Ministry ratified the willingness to continue consolidating the ties between both countries, developed on the basis of mutual respect since their establishment on September 26, 2013.
At meetings between representatives from the two countries, the parties committed to strengthening bilateral dialogue, based on common visions regarding the diversity of issues on the international agenda.
Cuba also acknowledged Lithuania’s support for its resolution calling for an end to the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States for more than six decades.
