Cuba: Business Fair Faciliates Exchange

Havana, May 18 (Prensa Latina) The 4th Business Fair of Cuba, is a sample of the possibilities giving the chance for direct exchange among Cuban enterprises to facilitate work among the Cuban economic actors.

The 4th Business Fair of Cuba is being held in Expocuba (Havana) up to May 25, with 300 entities -262 of them state companies, 15 joint ventures and 8 non-agricultural cooperatives- participating.

‘This exhibit is an excellent chance for a direct , clear and precise exchange, between those who demand and those who offer in the national market,’ commented Juan Escalona, president of CubaRon here Thursday.

Escalona said that the relevance of the fair is vital for producers and commercializers, and added that it supplies all the complementary possibilities for information.

He also said that for CubaRon, it is each time more trascendental to show its products, not only because of the offer to the tourist sector, but also for the national market.

‘The companies, and the country in general, made a great effort to respond to the standards for international quality to produce rum, juices, sodas, water and others,’ he said.

Among the most requested brands by customers, there are Havana Club, Perla del Norte, Cubay, Santiago 500 and Isla del Tesoro.

He also stated that regarding the production of rum, there are no production capacity problems, so they are in condition to discuss and offer what the market desires.

The 4th Business Fair of Cuba is making possible the identification of potentials, widening the working links, and increase efficiency and export.
