
Havana, Dec 13 (Prensa Latina) Cuban Deputy Prime Minister Ricardo Cabrisas is in Algeria to complete a work program that includes meetings with Algerian government authorities, the Foreign Ministry reported today.
The high-ranking official arrived in Algiers yesterday, capital of that North African nation, where he was received by the deputy director of Central America and the Caribbean of the Algerian Foreign Ministry and by Cuban diplomats.
The purpose of the visit is to continue strengthening the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two nations, which this year reached the 60th anniversary of their establishment. .
His stay in that North African country will also allow him to work together with the Algerian side in the implementation of the agreements reached during the recent visit of Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel to Algiers, the source said.
