Camaguey, Cuba, Jun 5 (Prensa Latina) Diverse aspects of global scientific work were debated by 150 international delegates at the 7th International Conference on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development (CYTDES 2017).
From an academic perspective, participants of this event organized by the University of Camaguey (UC), debated on different issues, including Biotechnology, Gender, Family and Society, Information Technology, Socialization of Information, Physical Activity and Science Chemicals.
CYTDES 2017 Organizing Committee President, PhD. Yoesdely Cruz stressed that such an event has been held since 2005. However, as the editions are conducted, the participating scientific community increases, and it can be distinguished by the great number of issues related to Sustainable development.
With regard to World Environment Day, ‘delegates also discussed issues seeking for a coherent and respect development that maintains the stability of man and nature,’ said Cruz.
Guatemala, Argentina, the United Kingdom, Ecuador, the United States, Mexico, Colombia and Belgium are some of the nations attending this event, as well as some specialists from all Cuban provinces and important institutions.
CYTDES-2017, which will be holding until June 7, is a perfect opportunity for science professionals to plan and coordinate international collaboration projects for a better research and academic development.
