Minsk, Apr 17 (Prensa Latina) President Alexandr Lukashenko has renewed for two years the mechanism for receiving medicines from Cuba in exchange for agricultural and automotive equipment, Cuban Ambassador to Belarus Santiago Pérez said on Wednesday.

According to the Cuban diplomat, the decree signed by the president aims to “purchase Cuban medicines in exchange for agricultural and automotive equipment and other goods of national production,” Prensa Latina announced.

The Belarusian Government stated that the document aimed to maintain cooperation between Belarus and Cuba.
