ALBA-TCP chief arrives in Cuba to attend 22nd Summit

Havana, Dec 13 (Prensa Latina) Sacha Llorenti, Executive Secretary of the Bolivarian Alliance for the Peoples of Our America-People’s Trade Treaty (ALBA-TCP), said on Tuesday that he felt “enormously privileged” to have arrived in Cuba.

We are ready to hold the 22nd Summit of Heads of State and Government that will be held in Havana on Wednesday and the “the 18th anniversary of the @ALBATCP. #AlianzaParaLaVida,” the Bolivian politician posted on Twitter.

Llorenti thanked hospitality and “generous reception” by Carlos de Céspedes Piedra, director of MINREX´s South America Department.

The 22nd ALBA-TCP Summit will take place in Havana, where its member states will assess progress and challenges, the situation in their countries, and to commemorate the 18th anniversary of this political agreement bloc.
