If you have ever thought about a chance to explore Cuba to meet the people, explore the culture and see the classic cars, here’s your chance. The AACA Museum is excited to announce a third trip to Cuba, which will take place between April 24 and May 2, 2016.
The weather in Cuba during the time of the trip should be just perfect with temperatures in the mid-upper 80’s. A daily slate of engaging activities affords you an immersive opportunity to connect directly with the Cuban people, learning more about each other through direct contact and cultural exchange.
Highlights include a visit to a car museum and an opportunity to attend a meeting of Havana’s Classic Car Club. Other stops include Hemingway’s former home (Finca Vigia) and a local machine and car repair shop. The trip includes sampling of local fare at privately owned paladars, 17 meals and tours of galleries and museums under the guidance of local experts in local art and history.
Previous tours have filled up quickly and this is expected to do the same. The AACA Museum will again work with International Expeditions for all tour arrangements. International Expeditions is licensed to operate people to people tours by the U.S. Treasury Department’s Office of Foreign Assets Control. Cuba has become a popular destination and reservations are in demand! The tour will continue to register participants as long as tour organizers are able to obtain hotel rooms and charter flights seats for them.
