Havana, Sep 16 (Prensa Latina) Cuban tobacco authorities have today called all those interested people in attending the 20th Habano Festival, which will be held from February 26 through March 2, 2018.
According to the official announcement, this international event will gather world’s best tobacco lovers, which about 1,000 delegates, from 70 nations, usually participate.
The text added that the event will exhibit the main 2017 novelties, in addition to holding its traditional activities, such as the Welcoming Evening, as well as Visit to the Best Tobacco Plantations in Pinar del Rio.
The official program of the event also includes Visits to the Most Emblematic Habanos Factories, Trade Fair, Seminars, the International Habanosommelier Contest, Cigar Rolling Master Class, Gala and Closing Dinner and and Humidors Auction.
Such a meeting is highly symbolic for the Habanos industry in Cuba, hence attracting traders, producers, artists and journalists specializing in tobacco industry.
Cuba is considered as the cradle of the best premium Habanos (handmade) in the world, because of the triple condition of soil, climate and producers’ experience.
Habanos Festival every year exhibits the novelties regarding special cigars, most of them particularly appealing to collectors.
