Havana, Jul 21 (Prensa Latina) The University of Medical Sciences of Havana (UCMH, in Spanish), now graduates approximately 1700 young people in the five careers that are studied there, Medicine, Stomatology, Health Technology, Nursing and Psychology.
Out of the total number of graduates, over 600 come from 36 nations Brazil, Ecuador, United States, Guatemala, Panama and Peru belong to the project of the Latin American School of Medicine (ELAM, in Spanish), and other government programs.
Cosme Moré Cuesta, Head of Communication and Information from the UCMH said that this year conclude their careers the third group of young people coming from the Popular Republic of China.
On July 24 it will perform at ELAM the Farewell activity of those which ended their careers but have other nationalities, Moré Cuesta said.
The graduation will take place at Havana’s Karl Marx Theater, and will be dedicated to the 10th Congress of the Young Communist League and the 62 anniversary of the Assault to the Moncada and the Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks, as well as to the 56 anniversary of the triumph of the Revolution.
