XX Biennial of Graphic Humor Ends in Cuba

Havana, Apr 5 (Prensa Latina) With the commitment to promote Latin American graphic humor and the invitation to upcoming meetings, the 20th edition of the San Antonio de los Baños Biennial, in the western Cuban province of Artemisa, says good bye today.

After three days of exhibitions, colloquium and cultural activities, the event comes to an end this afternoon, when the prizes and mentions in categories such as general humor, political satire, personal caricature, cartoons and photography will be announced.

Of the 500 art works presented, 133 of the 79 authors mostly coming from Brazil, Iran and the host country are in competition.

Speaking to the press, the president of the jury, Carlos David Fuentes, noted that will be recognized those works that achieve a balance between creativity and good performance.
