Venezuela’s Socialist leader praises humanism of Cuban doctors

Caracas, Jan 28 (Prensa Latina) The first Vice President of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV) Diosdado Cabello praised the humanism of the Cuban medical teams aiding dozens of nations in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.

At ‘Con el Mazo Dando’ TV program, aired by Venezolana de Televisión, Diosdado Cabello highlighted the National Assembly´s nomination of Henry Reeve Medical Brigade, created to provide medical assistance in situations of serious epidemics and natural disasters, for Nobel Peace Prize.

‘If there is someone who really deserves such a recognition, it is the Henry Reeve medical brigade. They deserve all the prizes in the world,’ Cabello said, highlighting the willingness of the Cuban health personnel to help any country.

In addition to the National Assembly, the Simón Bolívar Institute for Peace and Solidarity also supported this week the nomination of the Cuban medical brigade to the Nobel Peace Prize for their contribution to the fight against Covid-19.
