Venezuelans to hand over Signatures against Blockade

Caracas, Sep 21 (Prensa Latina) Thousands of Venezuelans will gather this Saturday in the Carabobo Park of this capital, in front of the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic, to deliver the signatures collected against the U.S. blockade.

Besides the delivery of the rubrics collected in the campaign #NoMasTrump (NoMoreTrump), developed in the country in rejection to the coercive and unilateral measures on the part of the administration of the United States Government, delegates that participate in the First International Women’s Encounter will also be present.

Along with the signatures, there will be a denunciation by the Venezuelan people about the link between the right wing and Colombian paramilitarism, and an investigation will be requested against the opposition deputy Juan Guaidó.

The campaign #NoMasTrump (NoMoreTrup), which began last August 10, after the issuance of an executive decree by U.S. President Donald Trump against this country, collected a total of 12 million 600 thousand signatures which will be delivered to the secretary general of the United Nations (UN), Antonio Guterres.

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro indicated that Vice President Delcy Rodriguez will be Venezuela’s representative at the 74th session of the UN General Assembly, where she will express the feelings of Venezuelans in rejection of the economic, financial and commercial blockade imposed by Washington.
