Caracas, May 1 (Prensa Latina) Venezuelan Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza favored strengthening a multipolar and pluricentral world in light of the rise of the U.S. cold war policy.
The head of Venezuelan diplomacy denounced on his Twitter account the policy implemented by the administration of U.S. President Donald Trump.
International Law, solidarity, peace and respect for the peoples’ sovereignty should rule world relations, he stated.
Arreaza posted on his Twitter account in mid April that Trump’s threats against Syria, a country that has been plunged into an armed conflict since 2011 to overthrow President Bashar Al Assad, show the decline of the U.S. empire.
Then he said, ‘The maneuvers to reenact a new ‘Cold War’ are unequivocal signs of despair and imperialist decline. The system is teetering on its own bottom. The peoples should be on the alert, mobilized and in offensive. Nothing is more dangerous than a wounded animal.’
